Through a meticulous process, the rocks are melted at an extremely high temperature of approximately 1500°C in a cupola. The resulting lava-like melts are then poured into high-speed spinners, where they are transformed into fine fibers.
Simultaneously, a specialized phenolic binder, consisting of silicon and mineral oil, is evenly sprayed onto the surface of each fiber. This ensures a homogeneous distribution of the binder, enhancing the overall performance of the rock wool products.
